We had a good turnout at the January meeting and we continued auctioning items from the club collection, as well as some member lots.
Suggestions were made to put our newsletter on our website, and to post meeting announcements on the Boeing on-line calendar to help make people aware of club activities.
Mark Hartford brought up the fact that it is almost impossible for employees who travel as part of their work to win an attendance prize with the present requirement (attendance at 5 consecutive meetings). Several options were discussed but no conclusion was reached.
Please be thinking about ways to improve the process and we will try to improve it. Some options are to change the requirement to 5 out of 6 meetings, special dispensation for anyone who missed because of travel, etc.
