The question of meeting on Valentines Day was raised because some members have other plans, but the consensus was to go ahead and meet on the 14th. Please call or email Alan for directions.
Member Bill has volunteered to give a program on his extensive Washington Bicentennial commemorative collection at the February meeting, appropriate with Washington’s birthday in February.
We will continue to auction from the club collection and members are encouraged to bring items for auction too. The club lots will include country collections from Kuwait and Lebanon; Jordan; Israel and more; Aden, Armenia, and Azerbaijan; and Montenegro. There are many interesting stamps, some very old, some newer, many topics, etc. In addition there will be some U.S. lots including Scott # 183; 209; 215; 216; 408-413 and more; 424-438; 1937-1938 commems including 797; postage dues, unused stamp album supplements; album covers; and two mystery lots. All the U.S. stamps are used unless noted..
